Why We Are Racing for Turtles
A group of us will be heading to the Galápagos Islands from April 30 – May 10, 2025, to volunteer with IOI (Intercultural Outreach Initiative), working hands-on with nesting sea turtles and supporting marine conservation efforts. During our time there, we’ll visit the Charles Darwin Research Station, home to the Giant Galápagos Turtles and a hub for vital conservation work. We’ll also have the incredible opportunity to observe these amazing creatures in the wild and truly connect with the land and sea.

✔ IOI's Volunteer Program – Helping future volunteers continue this work.
✔ The Charles Darwin Research Station – Funding marine conservation projects.
