Why We Are Racing for Turtles

A group of us will be heading to the Galápagos Islands from April 30 – May 10, 2025, to volunteer with IOI (Intercultural Outreach Initiative), working hands-on with nesting sea turtles and supporting marine conservation efforts. During our time there, we’ll visit the Charles Darwin Research Station, home to the Giant Galápagos Turtles and a hub for vital conservation work. We’ll also have the incredible opportunity to observe these amazing creatures in the wild and truly connect with the land and sea.

🌍 This race is our way of giving back! All proceeds after admin costs will support:
IOI's Volunteer Program – Helping future volunteers continue this work.
The Charles Darwin Research Station – Funding marine conservation projects.

💙 We have a goal of raising $5,000 – Let’s do this together!

Not feeling the fitness? No problem you can just make a donation that goes directly to the Charles Darwin Research Center.
